A downloadable game for Windows

A casual third-person 3D, story-driven quest-based adventure in which you explore a medieval world.  You and your friends have been sent back in time by the goddess to a backwater, destitute medieval town and must help them evolve both as characters and a community.  Can you help them all?

NOTE: Please download the PC executable file version 2.0.  No WebGL build exists for this project.

Controls:

  • Press Start or P to toggle pause, show control menu.
  • Left stick or WASD for movement.
  • Right stick or arrows for camera.
  • R3 or R-key to recenter the camera.
  • Button South or space to jump.
  • Button East or I to interact, advance dialogue.
  • Left Trigger or Shift to sprint.
  • Button North / West or Q / E for fast travel (must be unlocked)
  • Select or J to toggle quest log.

Developer's Notes:

The Quest Log can sometimes cause controls to become soft-locked.  This is a known issue.  If this happens, please just restart the game.  Unfortunately, any progress will be lost.  This can be mitigated by using mouse and keyboard, though gamepad is recommended for best experience.  The quest log is not strictly necessary, it's merely a quality of life feature.

Certain animations - such as crouch and sit - have the effect of offsetting the NPC model's position over time from its starting place.  We were not able to fix this in time for the jam, but the collisions and triggers still work properly.  If you scan around the entity's location, you should find them and the UI will still indicate when you've hit a valid target.

A really nice concept for the jam, and impressive to see how one person pulled it off. Good job,
